3rd Class Math 208

Well, I am suprising myself. I have somehow made math fun. I get excited when I get problems correct and I actually look forward to solving them. I don't know where this enthusiasm is coming from but I like it. I have this passion for math. I give this glory and all glory to God almighty. Without him I would not be here. Thank you Lord. You have laid my path and are showing me the way.

I look forward to the challenge of this class. Math208 has been my friend. I'll take it and run with it. I am a Phoenix!

Update on school and life.

Well I had my first class of my sophmore year on Monday. The class is Math208 and it's a algebra type course. I have a lot of refreshing to do but I will catch on. I liked the first class and look forward to the next 9 weeks of math. I have Math209 after this so it's gonna be fun fun fun..lol.

On another note my wifes grandmother passed away last week and although I didn't know her well, she lived a long and full life. I'm sad for my wife but I'm showing my support by being there for her.

Well I'll post somewhere down the road here, maybe next year in Feb. near the end of my 2nd math class just so it gives a broad spectrum of time. But i'll see, talk at ya later!!

Freshman year done!!

Ok it's Wednesday but I finished my freshman year and my 8th class on Monday, Nov. 7th. It tured out to be an ok class afterall. My learning team ended up only being 2 but it worked out for the better. I learned a lot in this class from Dr. January Riddle, yea you read right, and I'm thankful I had her as an instructor.

I have two classes of Math next, so for the next 10 weeks I'll be in math.

My attitude has changed a bit, I don't feel like leaving as of yet, but hey my frustration will be back I know it.

I had some fun in that class and I'm glad because I cannot see math being fun.

Well I'm off, it's Wed. Veterans day and my wife is off so I don't have to scurry off and be the taxi driver today.

P.S. I got financial aid and I'm in like flinn untill Sept 2010!!! Whoooo Hoooo!!! Degree here I come!!

New Class late post

Ok this post is late but I started my new class last week, its Comm215 essential of college writing, yipppie, so freaking exciting. Well I'm late on this post because I'm actually getting a bit tired of school. I need a break I think, plus working out is taking its toll. Well I start week 2 of this class tomorrow and thought I would post something, so there is something, peace!

7th Class is over!!!

OMG!!! I'm so glad this class is over. I feel like giving school a break untill after the holidays. I'm so f'n bored and really need some type of break. This last class was a complete disaster in my bood and the team I was on was really a big joke.

Well another one down and who knows how many more. I hope I can hang with it and keep on keeping on. I feel like transfering and doing something I would rather do. I dont know what's going to happen but I hope things get better.

Bored and unsure.

Today is Sunday, my Chargers won, it's my 36th birthday and I went to the Pacific Islander Fest. Overall I had fun, it was a little hot but fun. I'm trying to get my reading done for class tomorrow but I'm just so bored of this class. I should've read my syllabus better because I have a 700+ word paper due and I havnt started it.

There is also a team paper due and none of the team has done anything towards it. I'm thinking I'm just going to say forget it and take the 0 for the assignment. I also think I might get a failing grade or barely pass. I need inspiration and thought maybe writing in my journal would help. I thought about seeing about attending platt college for graphic design but I dont think I have enough love for art in general to go. I'm so bored and just want this class to be over with. I'm finding thinking to be a hard task for me right now and I need a break or something. I need to find the strength to keep on pushing and remember why I came to school. Fight Fight Fight, you can do it. OK I'm going to try writing or reading. Update sometime later. Peace..

First Time

For the first time as a student mentor I got to do something with it. I got up infront of a nursing class of 5 and spoke to them about what we do. I liked doing that and I wanna do somemore...I'm going to work on it..
