Turned down

I got official word from UOP about the Academic counselor position and it's a no go. I think I would be so perfect for that job. How could they turn someone down so passionate about the whole UOP system and the way things are done here, how could they turn that down? I've delt with tens of millions of dollars in real estate and I could surely handle an Academic counselor position.

It is what it is and I guess somewhere down the road, maybe they'll realize what an asset they have staring them right in the face.

I'm down but not out!

Done with Bio/101

Today was the last class, or last night was the last class. I took a final exam and bombed on it. I didn't study and I might as well have been taking the test in Chinese.

Our last class was held in a hotel room at the Holiday Inn, IT WAS A ACTUAL ROOM, CONVERTED INTO A CLASS!!!! Need I say more!!

I applied to be an Academic counselor at UOP but they would probably rather hire someone with a degree. That's ok, it's their loss.

Well my next class is World religion and I'm hoping for a better class. Biology was tough for me because it's straight forward and conceptual. But its OVER!! lol..

did I say we had only nine people in the class!!! like huh???

Well I'm out for now but I'll post next class and let ya know how it went.

Peace and I hope I at least get a call from UOP about the job, but I won't hold my breathe..

Just thoughts

Well I had my 2nd class in Biology this past Monday June 21st and it was ok overall. I am writing two papers but won't say anything more just incase curious eyes read this someday. I am feeling better about class and school overall and for some reason I'm finding Bio to be ok.

I will report back most likely at the end of class, until than peace!

On a side note I am starting a business called irecyclesd.com and I'm having trouble getting off the ground. I don't know whether it's due to laziness, or what but I have 2 and a half years to graduate so I might as well put effort into something that will help me and my family. Good luck to me and I hope a year from today I can look back and say I am still hard at work in my business. We'll see huh!...

Finished Ethics

I finished ethics class and I'm glad I got through it. I have been really lazy lately. I don't feel like putting a lot of effort into school. I don't know why, but the only change that has occured is my oldest son moving in with me. Maybe that is the cause, but I'm not sure.

I have biology next and I'm really not looking forward to that class. I'm optimistic to say the least.

I'll report back sometime during that class or after but I just hope the class doesn't drive me insane.

I'm feeling

Overwhelmed!! Man I just feel like quitting school or at least taking a break. I need to chillout this weekend and play some golf. I think I'll play a round with my son at Tecolote Canyon, I need to let loose a bit.

New class, new drama!

Ok yesterday was the first day of my new class, ethics in management, being taught by Mr. Rad. This dude is the dude and I'm so glad to have him as an instructor. He makes the dungeon bearable.

I found out I was awarded a Cal Grant and Booya!!! Mo Money!!!lol

Well yesterday was also the first day my good friend that was involved in a bad accident, was back in school. We had a rough start but I'm glad to see her face back in the class and her fortitude for continuning to pursue her education and degree. If you ever see this Elise, I'm sorry for what happened to you and it was good to have you back in my class after all that you have been through and go through. You are an inspiration girl! I'm proud to know you. But you are also a drama queen..lol..loves ya though..i got ya back!

Well I'm looking forward to this class and hope all goes well. I'm out for now but as usual see ya down the yellow brick road!! This sure aint Kansas!

Should be interesting.

Well this Monday should be very interesting. I am playing taxi cab man for school even. I'm not sure about this but we shall see. Ugh, why me!

I'm thinking about switching classes, this is beginning to be too much to do someone else's work for them and having to worry about it. I didn't sign up to do people's work for them.
