New class/ The Art of watching Films.

Well yesterday, Monday April 13, 2009 was my first day of my third course. I must say it was extremely boring, and I hope I make it through. The class is about watching films with an analytical mindset. I have trouble analyzing my thoughts, let alone a film. Well this class is going to suck but I'm going to do my best and hopefully get another A. So my next post will be at the end of this course, and a big sigh of relief.

Last class in my 2nd course Soc/110

It has been a rough 5 weeks, but I learned a lot from this course. I really learned how to write papers somewhat correctly. I appreciate how hard this course was because it will make me a better student down the road. I gave an outstanding presentation which is on youtube and hopefully i posted it along with this journal entry. My Soc/110 class was great, I owe a lot of my learning to my instructor Vickie Horton, she was absolutely great! I can't wait for my next class which is on films, should be a great class for me.

LAST DAY OF FIRST COURSE

WELL MY LAST DAY OF MY FIRST COURSE CAME AND WENT, IVE LEARNED A LOT FROM THIS EXPERIENCE. I GAVE A TOP NOTCH INSPIRATIONAL PRESENTATION AND WAS TOLD BY MY INSTRUCTOR IF I EVEN NEEDED A LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION FOR Valedictorian. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED, THAT A GUY WITH NO HOPE FOR HIS FUTURE COULD EVER HEAR THOSE WORDS. I LOVED MY FIRST COURSE AND LOOK FORWARD TO MOVING AHEAD AND LEAVING MY MARK. TONIGHT WAS A GREAT NIGHT FOR ME.

1st course almost done...

Well I'm almost done with my first course and next Monday 02/23/09 will be my last class of my first course. It's been great so far, I really enjoy class. The team thing is a little unorganized but as time goes on and the classes go, I'm sure I'll get it down. I'm so glad I decided to go back to school, its going to be a great journey.

FIRST WEEK

Well my first week in school is going well. I'm beginning to learn how to study and just keep chipping away at homework. Luckily I don't have a job right now so there is more time for homework, and reading. At the University of Phoenix we use learning teams, and my team is not much of a team right now. We have yet to have type of communication and my frustration is growing. Fortunately there is the option to fire them, which I will do next class if they do not show up. Other than that I'm having a good time learning how to learn all over again. There is no doubt in my mind, that going to school was a great decision. See ya soon.

FIRST DAY OF CLASS 01/26/2009

MONDAY NIGHT 01/26/2009 WAS MY FIRST CLASS IN ROOM 21 AT THE UOP SAN DIEGO KEARNY MESA CAMPUS. IT WAS WHAT I EXPECTED AND MORE THAN I EXPECTED. I'M EXCITED TO GET STARTED, CHALLENGE MYSELF AND CHART MY MENTAL GROWTH. I WILL POST EVERY CLASS AND POST THROUGHOUT THE WEEK. SO FOR NOW ITS GREAT, WILL MY ATTITUDE CHANGE AS THE COURSED GET HARDER? WILL IT CHANGE AS MY LEARNING TEAM MEMBERS CHANGE, GROW, AND WE LEARN HOW TO OVERCOME CONFLICT? I CANT WAIT TO SEE.
